THE BIG BEDTIME READ On Monday 8th November 9.30-11.30 

Winter is here and there is nothing better than snuggling down with a good book, some hot chocolate and a sweet treat. We would like to invite you, your children and families to enjoy a morning of just that! There will be comfy beds, soft lights, stories, refreshments including homemade cookies and cakes, plus a chance to meet up with other parents and children. We will be holding a book sale where we will be selling our very own Stonegate Pre School book, made up by the children. There will also be the chance to win a prize by guessing how many words are in our chosen book. This event will also provide parents with information and an opportunity to see how we lay those important foundations in teaching your children the skills they need to read. Make it more like bedtime by bringing your Childs favorite bedtime toy, pillow or blanket. They can were pyjamas too! We look forward to seeing you.  







BUDDIES 2011. Every year we ask Stonegate School to find each Stonegate Leaver a Big Buddy. We arrange an afternoon of fun and games with the Buddies and here they are...
 

 

 
 
From the Headteachers and Reception Teachers of our feeder schools September 2010:
Thank you for once again sending us pupils who are so well prepared for school. They are used to listening to stories and so able to sit attentively when necessary. In our initial phonic work with them they are very good at hearing initial sounds and have obviously worked well at pre-school in this area.
